About Asha for Education

Asha for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing about socio-economic change in India primarily through education. We pride ourselves on being an action group that keeps the administrative expenses to 3% and disburses 97% of donations to our partner groups in India.

Team Asha is a premier endurance sports training program organized by Asha for Education (Asha). It provides the necessary coaching and support system for both experienced and beginner athletes. Team Asha Seattle has three different programs: Running, Biking and Climbing. Hosts workshops on apparel, nutrition, and equipment. It raises funds for projects supported by Asha in India. These programs are completely driven by volunteers who are passionate about the cause of Asha for Education.

Event Details

Team Asha is very excited to announce that we are conducting 5K and 10K walk/run on June 13th, 2026 at 8am in Marymoor park, Redmond, WA. The route for the 5 K and 10K can be found below:

Please bring your registration confirmation email at Venue to pickup bib and T shirts at 8am. We request to hydrate very well and wear the clothes and gears appropriate for the weather. The course starts at 8:30am for 10K and 9 am for 5K. The course should be completed in 3 hours maximum. After 12:30am, Asha cannot provide any support on the route. Medals will be given to all the registered participants at the finish line.
