2026 Autism Society of the Heartland 5K/1K Fun Run

The connection is you.™ Looking for a fun way to give back with your family? Join Autism Society - The Heartland for our Annual 5K/1K Fun Run on April 4, 2026. This event gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 5K or 1K course at Aspiria (former Sprint Campus). Our 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. followed by our 1K at 9:15a.m. All participants (1K and 5K) are eligible to order a t-shirt separately from the race registration fee. Registered 5K in-person participants receive chip timing. All 5K and 1K race finishers will receive a finishers medal. If you have additional questions about the race, please visit our FAQs page. This race will benefit all those connected to the Autism community in Kansas and Missouri. This is an all weather event that will be run/walked unless the race director, at their sole discretion, determines that the weather conditions are not safe to run in, at which time the race will be cancelled. No refunds will be given.

At the finish line, there will be a vendor and resource fair to showcase companies that offer services and support for families touched by Autism. PACKET PICK-UP

Autism Society - The Heartland is holding its packet pickup event on Friday, April 3rd from 3-6pm. This will be held at a site to be determined. This will allow you to pick up your race packets (and Bib for 5K runners) ahead of the crowd for our 5K/1K Fun Run at Aspiria Campus on 4/4 at 8:00 a.m. (5K) and 9:15a.m. (1K). If you are going to pick up your packet at the event on the 4th, please allow additional time by arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your race!
