2026 Handcart Days Races

Join the South Davis Recreation Center  for our annual Handcart Days Half Marathon, Frontier 5k & Pioneer Pete1k!  This event is a hoot and a holler! Pick an event (half marathon, 5k or 1k), and run with our Race Pacers in the Half and our Pioneer Pete in the 1K.  Race details will be send out via email, the week of the race. We offer some breakfast items to go along with our traditional oranges, bananas, and muffins.  Make this a yearly tradition for you and yours!

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-up:

• * Please only those participating in the race, come and pick up your packets OR have participating friends and/or family, pick up.
• Friday, July 24th @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 p.m
• Half Marathon participants are required to pick up their packets, the day before.
• Saturday, July 25th @ 5:00am - 6:00 am.

Race Start Times:

• •HandCart Half Marathon  5:30 am  *with Race Pacers     Early start @5 am. Designed for the slower runner (14 min/mile +) Not eligible for awards.
• •Frontier 5K 6:30 am
• •Pioneer Pete 1K 7:30 am
