Don't miss this favorite event of the 4th of July celebration! This scenic 10K trail running race offers up some of the best views in the Breckenridge area. This race is limited to 500 people and usually sells out in June. Registered racers receive a technical race tee. EARLY REGISTRATION GUARANTEES A RACE DAY T-SHIRT! There are two aid stations along the course. Restrooms are available at the start and finish of the race.

PLEASE NOTE - the race has sold out early for the past 5 years. Early registration is highly recommended! Parking is limited for this event. Using our free public transportation is highly recommended. The best area to park is at Stephen C West Ice Arena - 189 Boreas Pass Road, Breckenridge, Co 80424. It is a 5 minute walk to Carter Park.

Event details and schedule

• Online registration ends at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 2.
• Bib and t-shirt pick up and in-person registration at Carter Park (address and directions below) on Monday, July 3rd from 3:00-6:00pm.
• If the race isn't sold out, participants can register the day of the race from 6:00-6:45am at Carter Park.
• T-shirts are available for the first 500 registrants. Please remember shirt sizes are given out on a first come first serve basis.
• Registered participants may arrive at 6:00am to pickup shirt and bib on race day.

Cutoff Time: This race must be completed by 10:00am. Course marshals determine on Barney Ford, 2.4 miles into course, if the race will be shortened for you. If you have not made it to Barney Ford/Juniata by 8:30am this course will be shortened. Please refer to map. The Firecracker 50 immediately follows this race!
