About the Event
Join us for the 2026 Race 4 Independence. This is a 5K walk/run and a 2.5K walk/run. This event will also have several options for a 2.5K walk/run/stroll for people with disabilities (wheelchair, assisted walking, and low-vision).
The League's mission is to provide and promote opportunities to allow people with disabilities to achieve their full potential. We strive to help people with disabilities remain independent or achieve independence.
*This is a pet-friendly event. Please make sure your pet is leashed at all times.
Race Day Information:
Location: Purdue Fort Wayne Alumni Plaza (2101 E. Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
Parking is free and available in P2 (Parking Garage 2) next to the Walb Student Union.
