28TH Annual CCT Metric Century Ride

The Cannonballs Cycling Team (CCT) is hosting its 28th Annual Metric Century event, featuring new offerings including timed run options and timing for cyclists. Participants can test their endurance on challenging routes through Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Lincoln Counties while supporting local charities. The event starts and ends at White Water Middle School in Charlotte, North Carolina, with SAG support and aid stations for Metric and Half Metric riders.

Distance Options:

• CCT Metric Century Ride: 8:00 AM (includes 4 rest stops)
• CCT Half Metric Century Ride: 8:30 AM (includes 2 rest stops)
• CCT 15-mile Fun Ride: 8:45 AM (guided route, not timed)
• Cannonballs 5k: 7:00 AM (run only option)
• CCT 5k + 15-mile Fun Ride Duathlon: 7:00 AM start for 5k (3.1 mile run followed by 15-mile CCT lead ride)
• CCT 5k + Half Metric Century Ride Duathlon: 7:00 AM start for 5k (3.1 mile run followed by half metric century)
• CCT 5k + Metric Century Ride Duathlon: 7:00 AM start for 5k (3.1 mile run followed by CCT metric century)

Registration Includes:

• SAG support throughout ride (Metric/Half Metric Riders only)
• Lunch for all participants following ride
• Finisher Gift for all CCT Metric, Half Metric Riders, Duathlon or 5k registrants (Guaranteed for first 150 participants)
• Recovery Ride - June 7, 2023 at 8AM
• Access to Swap Meet Featuring Local Bike Shops
