Race Info

The Be the Buffalo Memorial Run for Digits and Needle is held on Saturday, February 6, 2027, in Lexington, SC. This event honors Dianne Sullivan Wells (Digits) and Edith Edy Pearson (Needle), beloved runners in the community. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity chosen by the families. For 2026, proceeds will go to the family of Kathy Young.

The race aims to foster community support and remembrance, embodying the spirit of 'Being the Buffalo' by facing challenges together.

Courses and Prices

• 5K - Run: Price starts at $35.00. Prices increase after November 10, 2026.

Packet Pickup

Date: February 6, 2026, from 4-7 pm.
Location: Palmetto Chiropractic Center, 929 N Lake Dr, Unit H, Lexington, SC 29072.

Awards

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female (Masters) and in various age groups for the 5K Run/Walk.
