The Harford County Running Club, the Harford County running affiliate of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), conducts the Bel Air Town Run (BATR) 5K as a community event to promote health, fitness and running. The 5K race is a RRCA Regional Championship race. There is also a 1 mile fun walk option.

Race Day: Sunday, June 7th Starting at 6:30AM onsite (Bandshell on Hickory Avenue)

Amenities:
All participants receive: an event T-Shirt, water on course and at finish, finisher medal, Independent Brewing Company beer garden - each registrant (21 and over) will receive one complimentary beer coupon; Frozen treat for participant under 21 from Fire & Ice, chip timing, timing splits at each mile.

Cash Awards given to the the top three male, top three female and top three non-binary runners in: Open (no age restriction) - based on gun time
1st Place: $150

Master (ages 40+) - based on gun time
1st Place: $75
2nd Place: $50
3rd Place: $25
Awards will be given out for the top three male and female finishers of each age group (in five year increments), based on chip time: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Top 3 "Fit For Duty" Finishers - Participants agree to wear 35 lbs or more of turnout gear, open to military, police, and fire. MUST WEAR BIB AND TIMING CHIP

Course: This is a downhill point to point course on paved streets. Once off Main St. this is a residential area. Only the section of Main St. and Lee Way are closed to traffic. There are police officers at major intersections. There are course marshals at almost all intersections. The course is marked with white chalk on the road. Runners are responsible for knowing the course.

Beneficiary: Harford County Running Club is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of Maryland with the goals to promote amateur sports competition and physical fitness.
