Bluegrass Half Marathon

Event Overview

The 16th Annual Bluegrass Half Marathon is one of the premier half marathons in the region. All races start & finish at Johnson City's Pavilion at Founders Park.

Race organized by The Goose Chase & Electronic timing by We Run Events.

Date: September 27, 2026

Start Time: 7:30 AM EDT (7:00 AM early start)

Location: Farmers Market Pavilion at Founders Park, Johnson City, TN 37604 US

Packet Pickup:

• Saturday, Sep. 26: Stretch Zone, 3020 Franklin Terrace, Suite 5, Johnson City. 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
• Sunday, Sep. 27: The Pavilion at Founders Park, 225 Commerce St., Johnson City. Until 7:15 AM.

Race Protocol

• All participants must be registered and wear their official race bib at all times.
• Runners must follow the designated course route.
• The race is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes.
• Baby strollers are permitted in the back of the starting pack.
• Well-behaved, socialized, and leashed dogs are permitted.
• Headphones are permitted, but participants must be alert.

Timing & Results

The race will be timed by We Run Events using B-tags attached to the bib number. Results will be available post-race.
