Brooks Surf Coast Trail Marathon 2026

Welcome to the 12th edition of the Surf Coast Trail Marathon, a trail running event offering participants marathon and half marathon runs along the stunning Surf Coast Walk tracking from Torquay to Fairhaven on Victoria’s famed Surf Coast. A new 8km distance is also available.

The marathon route is suitable for both solo runners and teams of two. The course features coastal viewpoints and passes iconic locations like Bells Beach, Point Addis, Anglesea, and Split Point lighthouse.

Event Schedule

• Friday, June 13, 2025: Event Registration (1pm–7pm) at The Salty Dog Cafe, Torquay.
• Saturday, June 14, 2025:
• 6:30am: Bus departs from Fairhaven SLSC to Torquay.
• 6:30am–8am: Late Event Registration at Salty Dog Cafe, Torquay.
• 8:15am: Marathon race briefing at the start line.
• 8:30am: Marathon starts.
• 9:45am: Bus departs from Torquay and Fairhaven to Point Addis.
• 10:45am: Half Marathon race briefing at Point Addis.
• 11am: Half Marathon starts at Point Addis.
• 11:15am-11:30am: First marathon runner expected to finish at Fairhaven.
• 12:30pm: First half marathoner expected over the line.
• 1:30pm, 3pm, 4pm: Bus departs Fairhaven to Torquay.
• 2:30pm: Event Presentations at Fairhaven Surf Life Saving Club.
• 5:30pm: Event close.
• From 6pm: Post-run fun, music, food, and drinks at Aireys Pub.

• Half Marathon (21km): $90.00 (Be The Worm), $110.00 (Early Bird), $125.00 (Regular Entry), $145.00 (Late Entry), $155.00 (Last Minute)
• Teams of 2 (Marathon): $80.00 per person (Be The Worm), $90.00 per person (Early Bird), $105.00 per person (Regular Entry), $115.00 per person (Late Entry), $125.00 per person (Last Minute)
