BVFRD Fire Drill 5K/1M

Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department (BVFRD) invites you to run the fifth annual Fire Drill 5K/1M on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Burke Lake Park at 8:00 am. BVFRD provides lifesaving fire suppression and emergency medical response services for the citizens of Burke, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Springfield, and Annandale. Funds raised through the Fire Drill 5K will help support our station for equipment and training.

$45 on Race Day - April 25, 2026

1 Mile:
$20 through January 13, 2026
$30 January 14 through April 24, 2026
$35 on Race Day - April 25, 2026

Online registration will remain open until the race starts on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 7:30 am.

Packet Pick up:
=PR= Burke Store (5715 Burke Centre Parkway, Burke, VA 22015) on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 12-8pm.
Burke Lake Park on race day starting at 7:00 am.

All Race Participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal. Be sure to register by Thursday, April 9, 2026 to be guaranteed a shirt and medal.

Awards will be given to the overall top 3 male and female finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups; 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.
