City of Bloomington Turkey Trot

The City of Bloomington Turkey Trot is back for its 45th Annual event, in partnership with Fleet Feet Bloomington. Lace up your running shoes and join us on Thanksgiving Day, 2023 for a fun-filled morning of running and walking.

The event offers three different courses to choose from. Kids can participate in the Kids Half Mile Run, while adults can opt for the 3 Mile Run or the 1.5 Mile Walk. All courses are designed to cater to participants of all fitness levels.

Participants can pick up their bibs and shirts at Fleet Feet Bloomington on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, November 22 during regular store hours. Alternatively, bibs and shirts can also be collected on the day of the event at Miller Park from 8am - 9am. Please note that t-shirts are available in limited quantities and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

With over 1,500 runners and walkers expected to participate, the City of Bloomington Turkey Trot has become a beloved local tradition. To ensure the safety of all participants, dogs and strollers are strongly discouraged.

Pre-registering for the event not only guarantees your spot, but also gives you a chance to win exciting prizes. Only pre-registered participants will be eligible for prizes, which include Fleet Feet gift certificates and more. If you prefer, you can also register in person on the day of the event at Miller Park from 8am - 9am.
