Course Details

The course is a 10-mile loop that combines the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails. It features classic Louisiana State Park trail terrain: flat, minimally elevated paths with muddy sections, tree roots, and natural trail surfaces. There will be two aid stations along the route, with the main one at the Start/Finish area offering hot food and snacks. A second, unmanned station will provide water, snacks, ice, and electrolytes.

Location

Lake Bistineau State Park is situated on the western shore of Lake Bistineau and offers beautiful vistas and recreational facilities. The park features upland mixed hardwood forest, open waters, and stands of cypress and tupelo trees. It provides boat launches, hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, camping, cabins, and fishing. The park's trail system encompasses nearly 10 miles of woodland trails and an 11-mile canoe trail.

• 100 Miler: Sat 6:00 AM, 40-hour cutoff
• 100K: Sat 6:00 AM, 40-hour cutoff
• 25K: Sat 8:00 AM, 15-hour cutoff
• 50 Miler: Sat 8:00 AM, 15-hour cutoff

Race Day Food

Start/Finish: Bacon, PB&J, Chips, Cookies, Quesadilla, Grill Cheese Sandwich, Pickles, Candy, Crackers, Potatoes, Gummies, Soda, Water, Ice, & Electrolytes. More hot food will be added, including vegan options.
