Falling Leaves 8 miler and 5K

Event Description

Celebrate the fall colors and changing seasons with a trail run through Secor and Wiregrass Metroparks. The event features two races: an 8 miler (approximately 7.7 miles) and a 5K (approximately 3.3 miles). Both courses are flat and non-technical, starting at Secor Metropark on the all-purpose trail. Walkers are welcome in the 5K.

Awards & Perks

• Awards for top male/female overall, masters, and grand masters in both 5K and 8-mile races.
• Medals for all finishers.
• Opportunity to set PRs in new distances.

Packet Pick-up

• Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Second Sole.
• Day-of packet pick-up available at the Secor Center.

Sustainability

This race aims to reduce disposable cup waste by using Hydrapak reusable cups, provided at packet pickup. Disposable cups will still be available at aid stations.

Toledo Roadrunners Club Trail Series

The Falling Leaves event is part of the Toledo Roadrunners Club Trail Series, presented in partnership with Metroparks Toledo and sponsored by Second Sole. Other races in the series include Marsh Madness 10K, Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon, and Oak Openings Stampede 25K and 5K. Discounts are available for registering for all four events.
