Fat Ass Trail Run

Event Details

The Fat Ass Trail Run, originating in 2003, has grown into one of Ontario's largest trail races, maintaining an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

Distances and Start Times:

• 50km: 7:30 a.m. EST
• Bad Ass 6 Hour: 8:00 a.m. EST
• 24.5km: 9:15 a.m. EST
• 16.5km: 10:30 a.m. EST
• 10km: 12:00 p.m. EST
• 7.5km: 1:00 p.m. EST
• 5km: 2:00 p.m. EST
• Big Bum Kids' 1km: 1:15 p.m. EST (NEW FOR 2026)

Important Information:

• No refunds. Transfers allowed until October 31st.
• Fat Ass shirt pre-order and Bad Ass swag deadline: October 25th.
• 50km race has a hard cutoff time of 5:00 p.m. Headlamp required after 3:00 p.m.
• The course features rocks, roots, single tracks, creek crossings, and hills.
• This is a cupless event; bring your own hydration vessels.
• Aid stations are located on the north and south loops, and in between.
• First Aid provided by Stat Med Canada. Porta potties available at start/finish.
• Ample parking is available at Batawa Ski Hill and overflow parking at the Batawa Community Centre.
• Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in each distance. Ribbons for Big Bums kids' race.
• Race shirts available for pre-order; exclusive swag for 6-Hour Badasses.
