  Open to ages 12 and under. 100 spots left.

Starts with the kids 1 Mile Fun Run at 7:30 am and the Firecracker 5k at 8:00 am and concluding with an award ceremony at 9:00am under the tent at the Waynesboro Jubilee.

Race Information

• All Children’s 1-Mile Fun Run & 5K Participants receive a finisher’s medal.
• NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS – the event held rain or shine.

Schedule of Events

• PACKET PICK-UP: Waynesboro Area Senior High School (550 East Main Street, Waynesboro PA 17268) on July 3rd from 5:30pm - 8:00pm and July 4th from 6:15am - 7:00am.
• RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
  • 7:15 AM: Assemble on 2nd Street in front of the High School
  • 7:30 AM: Kids Run START!
  • 7:40 AM: Assemble on 2nd Street in front of the High School
  • 8:00 AM: Firecracker 5K START!
  • 9:00 AM: Awards Ceremony @ the Waynesboro Summer Jubilee Tent across from the Waynesboro Hospital.

Awards

Firecracker 5k - Overall awards (1st Male/Female finisher in each category): Open, Masters (40+), Seniors (60+). 5K Age groups (1st Male/Female finisher in each age group): 8 and under to 70 and over. Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run - Age groups (Awards are given to top 3 Male/Female Finishers in each Age Group): 6 year olds to 12 year olds.

Award Recipients MUST be present at the Awards Ceremony to receive award. Awards will not be mailed or given at another time.
