Firecracker 5K - The Woodlands, TX 2026

Celebrate America 250 by lighting up The Woodlands Waterway with a unique one-time-only patriotic Firecracker 5K! The race will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026 beginning at 7 p.m. along The Woodlands Waterway. This USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event offers awards for overall male and female, as well as top finishers in age groups. The chip-timed 5K course winds through a scenic route fostering friendly competition. Runners of all abilities are welcome, ages 10 and older. Dress in your best patriotic attire!

There will not be an Awards Ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite. A photo area will be available for participants.

Registration fee of $50 includes a participant t-shirt, finisher medal, and participant packet. Note: Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements!
