Get ready to strut your stuff and flamingle at the most fabulous running event of the year! Welcome to the " Flamingo 5K " – where the fun is as flamazing as a flock of flamingos and every step is a fiesta! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a first-time participant, this event is for you.

Highlights Include:

• Flamingo 5K OR 1 Mile Frolic: Start the day surrounded by all your favorite flamingos! Want to challenge yourself with the 5K or simply strut your stuff as a group in the 1 Mile Frolic, the choice is yours!
• The View: This is a beach run & walk along Siesta Key Beach, so it's sure to be beautiful!!! Take LOTS of pictures!!
• Breast Cancer Awareness & Celebration: This is our annual event to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness while celebrating those magnificent Flamingos that are fighting, have survived, or are being remembered. All the proceeds from this event will be going to help Fighting Flamingos in the Sarasota County area.
• Finisher’s Medal for ALL participants: Memorialize your victory with a flamingo-themed medal, with a bonus surprise attached.
• Fantastic Flamingo Swag: Every participant registered before the shirt cut off, September 23rd, will receive a gender specific tech tee. There are also some flamazing flamingo add on’s!!
• Post-race Flamingo Fiesta: Celebrate your finish at our post-race Flamingo Fiesta, complete with food, music, awards, and fun for all ages.

• Advanced Packet Pick Up Friday October 9th, TBD
• Race Morning Packet Pick Up Saturday October 10th, 6:30am-7:45am Race Morning Packet-Pick-Up from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on-site at the Sea Turtle Pavillion of Siesta Key Beach. Parking lots D & E are the closet lots to the pavilion.
