GLOW for Galactosemia 2026

What is GLOW?

We are excited to GLOW with you (or alongside you wherever you are!) on April 11! We will be having a race event in Richmond, Va and a virtual option for all who would like to join across the United States! GLOW is a fundraising event that patients and families with Galactosemia look forward to every year! We try to inspire hope and connection between families and individuals. Please come join us and learn more about Galactosemia!

Prizes/Awards?

Top 3 winners (Male/Female) of the in-person race will receive a gift card to Lucky Road Run Store! There is also a door prize for those in-person participants. The door prize is a $50 gift card to Plan 9 Music located in Carytown!

Fundraising Incentives

This year we are giving away tickets to the 2026 Galactosemia Foundation's Conference. To qualify for a ticket we have different categories that must be met: 1) To win 1 ticket your fundraising team must fundraise $750 2) To win 2 tickets your fundraising team must fundraise $1500 *It is important to note that these tickets are only for the conference and does not include the flight or hotel for the conference. For more information please reach out to [email protected] *Each fundraising team will only be able to earn 1 or 2 tickets, no more. The amount of people on their team does not matter.

Event Location Information

Race Location: Robious Landing, 3800 James River Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113 US. This race will follow the white path, a 1.5 mile gravel trail. Participants will be starting at the docks and doing two loops to encompass the 3.1 miles. For more details follow this link!
