Introducing the Grand Valley Backyard! This is an inaugural event featuring a traditional and official Backyard race (bronze ticket event). The race format is 4.17 miles every hour, with everyone starting together each yard/loop. The race ends when only one person is left, regardless of how long it takes.

Date: October 3, 2026

This event is the first LMS Style/Backyard race in the area, making it the third Backyard race for Ultraverse Supplements across different states.

Awards:

• Distance specific buckles for ALL DISTANCES ACHIEVED.
• Acrylic awards for last male and last female standing.
• A top-of-the-line Sheridan Buckle for the overall winner (last standing).

Your result will be your distance achieved. You will not receive a DNF unless you fail to finish a loop.

SWAG: All runners receive a beautiful finisher's buckle with their exact mileage, a high-quality tri-blend shirt, a race sticker, and a draw-string bag.

Course Description: 4.17 miles of mostly single track with some double track. No pavement. 500 feet of elevation gain per loop, mostly in the first half. Entirely runnable and non-technical. Features a huge staging area for an amazing finish line environment.

Additional Rules and Information:

• Water and Proxima C Endurance Fuel will be provided. Runners requiring food should bring their own.
• Ample space for setting up crew areas (10x10 per runner/crew). Pop-ups are allowed but must be staked/weighted down.
• No dogs in the crew area or on the course. Keep children under control. Crew misconduct can disqualify their runner.
• No electricity is available for runners. Battery packs are recommended.
• Gas generators are not allowed in the crew space; electric is fine. Grills are permitted behind vehicles, not in the crew area.
• Campgrounds are available nearby.

Deferral & Withdrawal Instructions:

• 100% credit if canceled prior to 60 days of the race.
• 50% credit if canceled prior to 30 days of the race.
• 25% credit if canceled prior to 14 days of the race.
• No credit for cancellations less than 2 weeks prior.
• Credit is valid for any Ultraverse Supplements race and attached to your Ultrasignup account for one year.
• Must be done by the runner via Ultrasignup; emailing does not initiate cancellation.
• No refunds, no bib transfers.
