Harvest Moon Run 5k and 8k

Race Information

The Harvest Moon Run 5k and 8k takes place on Friday, September 25, 2026. The event includes a 5k race, an 8k race, and a 5k Ruck event.

Location

The race begins and ends on Depot Street in Martinsville, VA, near the Gazebo. The courses will be run on the UpTown Connection and Dick & Willie Passage Trails, which are finished with smooth paved asphalt.

Schedule

• Race Start Time: 6:30 PM EDT for both 5k/8k races.
• Packet Pickup: Friday, September 25 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Martinsville YMCA, and from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Gazebo on Race Day.

Amenities & Awards

Live music and beer will be available during and after the race. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall finishers and age group winners.
