Event Description: 28th Annual Lake Mingo Trail Run, Est. 1999. This race is special and each year we mix it up by changing directions. On Odd years the course is clockwise and On Even years the course is counterclockwise.

Grand Slam Event #3: An awesome award will be presented to everyone who finishes these great Kennekuk Events in 2025. Siberian Express, Mountain Goat, Lake Mingo Trail Run, and Wild Wild Wilderness. Awards will be presented at the Wild Wild Wilderness race.

Course: Mingo Trail - 7.1 miles, 90% trail, 7% grassland, 3% rock & asphalt. Features numerous hills, 9 bridges, and marshlands. Goes around Lake Mingo and across the earth dam.

Aid Stations: One aid station halfway through the course with water, various beverages, and limited snacks.

Registration:

• Online Registration Open until June 4, 2026
• Online Cost: $30 (Price increases on May 5, 2026)
• Race Day Registration: Available from 8:00 to 8:45 AM, cost is $40 (does not include shirt). Cash or checks payable to KRR.
• T-shirt Cutoff Date: May 27 – Register online by this date to order a shirt/sweatshirt. Limited shirts may be available for purchase ($20) or at the after party.

Packet Pickup: Race day from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. Includes shirt, bib, and pins.

Time Limit: No time limit

Finisher Medals: Presented to the first 150 runners.

Age Group Awards: TBD

Regulations: No bandits, radios, strollers, or dogs allowed. No shirts or awards will be mailed. No refunds or bib transfers.

Post Race Party: Immediately following the race at the Hideaway Shelter. Includes pulled pork, pulled chicken, chips, and keg beer.

Camping: Nearby Kickapoo State Park has campgrounds with 184 sites.
