Lookin For A Cure Minneapolis

Join us on Saturday, June 8th at BDE MAKA SKA LAKE in Minneapolis for the "Lookin' For a Cure" event. This event is organized by A Cure in Sight and aims to raise funds for research on ocular melanoma, a rare eye cancer.

Participants can choose between two courses: the Lookin' for a Cure 5k or the Virtual Lookin' for a Cure 5k. The Lookin' for a Cure 5k is a physical race with a distance of 5 kilometers, and the registration prices range from $20.00 to $45.00. The Virtual Lookin' for a Cure 5k allows participants to complete the race at their own location and time, with a registration price of $45.00.

All ages are welcome to walk or run in the race, so bring your friends and family along. The event will start at 8:00 AM and end at 10:30 AM.

Participants who register by May 1st will receive a guaranteed t-shirt. Additionally, all participants will receive a finisher medal, food and drink, access to an aid station, a commemorative race bib, and free downloadable photos. Official finishers' times will be recorded, and age group placements will be awarded.

The race day schedule includes registration at 7:00 AM, race start at 8:00 AM, and announcements and awards at 9:30 AM.
