MARCH MADNESS HALF MARATHON, 10K, 5K

Join us for the MARCH MADNESS HALF MARATHON, 10K, 5K run festival in Weequahic Park, ESSEX COUNTY, Newark, NJ. The course is designed for strong fan support, offering a challenging yet engaging experience with support stations at key points. The race is fully supported with 3 expertly managed support stations providing Gatorade, water, and gels. Enjoy live timing and live tracking, allowing real-time progress monitoring on a digital map. Live streaming of the finish line with photography and finisher videos for all participants. Participants will receive large finisher medals, comfortable technical t-shirts, and access to food, beverages, and a memorable awards ceremony.

Event details and schedule

RACE DAY: Show up ready to run approximately 30 minutes prior to the start. If you do not have your bib, follow directions from staff.

START TIMES:

• 9:30 A.M. - HALF MARATHON
• 9:45 AM - 10K and 5 K RACE

LOCATION: Exact location to be announced.

COURSE SUPPORT: Traditional water and Gatorade support stations with paper cups. Power gels will be handed out. Trash receptacles and volunteers will be on the course.

AMENITIES: Technical T-shirt, die-cast finisher medal, plaque awards for top 3 overall and in age groups of 3.

TIMING: Every loop is timed in real time! Your family and friends can track you per loop. Video and images uploaded within 2 hours from the end of the race.

AWARDS: Overall Top three awards to male and female winners (The Golden Drum Stick). Age group awards for age groups of 10 years starting at 19 & under, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, Golden Runners (70+).
