Memorial Day 5K/10K/15K - Atlanta

Event Details

Join us this Memorial Day as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who lost their lives while serving our country. The Memorial Day 5K/10K/15K is a meaningful way to pay tribute to our fallen heroes—by gathering as a community, celebrating their legacy, and moving forward in their honor.

We are offering all Active and Retired Military a Complimentary race (5K, 10K or 15K) on May 23, 2026. (Military I.D. of the athlete must be shown to pick up bib.)

Join us on the streets of Marietta, GA. Participants may choose from the 5K, 10K, or 15K distances, each offering a patriotic race-day experience filled with purpose and pride. All athletes who cross the finish line will receive a commemorative finisher medal, a lasting reminder of the day and the heroes it represents.

To recognize outstanding performances, awards will be given to the top three men and women in the traditional five-year age groups for all three race distances.

Run with gratitude. Run with remembrance. Run for those who gave everything.

Event Schedule

• May 15th: Last day to register to guarantee your shirt size
• May 24th: Early Packet Pickup
• May 25th: 6:30 AM Race Day Registration & Pickup Opens; 7:30 AM Race START

Awards & Medals

Awards in the 5K/10K/15K as follows:

• Top 3 Overall Male & Female
• Top 3 Overall Masters (40+)
• Top 3 Overall Grand Master (50+)
• Top 3 Overall Senior Master (60+)
• Top 3 in each age group (10 & under - 80+)

All finishers will receive a Finisher Medal for 2026!

VIRTUAL RUNNING

Can't make it out to the event site on race day? Run when & where you want, just submit your time by end of Race Day. We'll ship out virtual packages the Monday after event date! Shipping available for continental US only.

How it works: Sign up, download your Custom Digital Bib, run or walk, submit your results on RunSignUp.com.

Course & Timing

All three events will start and finish in the Parking Lot of the Sprayberry Square Shopping Center on the corner of Sandy Plains & E. Piedmont. All routes are an out and back, and will be run entirely on E. Piedmont Rd.

Water Stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants will need to finish with at least a 16 min/mile pace.

Groups and Teams

Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration.

Championships & Turkey Trot

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2026 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots.

Event Courtesy & Refund Policy

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. Event will take place rain or shine. No refunds in case of extreme weather. Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag. No COVID-19 Refunds.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is on race morning starting one hour prior to the start of the race. Early pickup may be available and will be added here.
