The Muddy Sneaker is also a twelve+ mile trail run in the Hi Tor Wildlife Management Area in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, southeast of Canandaigua Lake. Established in 2000, the Sneaker has some of the most rapid elevation loss and gain of any trail run in the region. During the Muddy Sneaker you may encounter any or all of the following hazards: rocks, roots, snow, ice, crawling over logs, stream crossings, oversized chickens and other wild creatures. THIS IS NOT A PR COURSE! If however you want to test yourself against nature, the raw beauty of Hi Tor and your own will to finish this is the race for you. We will be registering 200 runners this year WITH NO WAITING LIST!!!! Packet pickup will start at 7:30 AM, there will be an early start at 8 AM - participants in the early start are not eligible for awards, the official race start is at 9 AM.

Withdrawals: Plans change, so Goose Adventure Racing will provide withdrawal refunds. Refunds will only be for the race entrance fee; refunds will not include the Ultra Signup administration fee. There will be NO WAITLIST this year! There is no need to contact us for a refund as they will be processed by Ultrasignup upon cancellation through the website. Simply cancel using the UltraSignup dashboard and you will be removed from the race and your credit card will be refunded as follows: Within 10 days of registration, 100% refund. Before April 1, 2026, 50% refund. After April 1, 2026, NO refund.
