Description: The Needles 50k is a challenging, self-supported trail race with approximately 10,000' of climb. Participants must carry all their own calories and treat their own water from creeks. The course connects Domerie Divide, Thomas Mtn, French Cabin Mtn, Little Joe Lake, Thorp Mtn, Kachess Ridge, and Silver Creek. This is considered a graduate-level mountain run.

Race Day Schedule:

• 5:00am: Early start(?)
• 6:00am - 6:30am: Race check-in
• 6:45am: Race briefing
• 7:00am: Race start
• 7:00pm: 12 hour cutoff for “official” finish

Water Access: Untreated water available in creeks. Filtering recommended.

Course Markings: None. A GPX track will be emailed one week prior and must be pre-loaded.

Requirements: Pre-requisite is a 50-mile trail run in 12 hours or less. Must carry a phone with course downloaded. Selfies at summit of Thorp Mtn and other random spots required for official finish time. GPX track submission required.
