The Osprey 10K Run / 5K Run-Walk takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Smith Mountain Lake State Park in Huddleston, VA 24104. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park Inc., a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the park. All proceeds benefit park programs and environmental stewardship.

Race Details: The course offers beautiful views of Smith Mountain Lake and has easy rolling hills. Chip timing provides accurate results. Runners receive recovery drinks, fruit, energy bars, and a race shirt (shirts not guaranteed for registrations less than 14 days before race day). Awards are given to top finishers and age group winners.
