Race Info

Join Yooper Running Company on the Sunday before Labor Day to celebrate the Yooper Area Code of 906 with a 9.06K. The race takes place along one of the most gorgeous, stunning, and little-known views of the Mackinac Bridge at 9:00am. The start/finish is in Bridge View Park located at W69 Boulevard Drive, St. Ignace, MI 49781.

Registration Dates & Prices:

• 2025: $25.00 + $15 T-Shirt Option
• January-June: $30.00 + $15 T-Shirt Option
• July-August: $35.00 + $15 T-Shirt Option
• September: $40.00 + $15 T-Shirt Option

Online Registration Only. A limit will be developed 6 weeks out from race day.

Bib Pickup Details: An early bib pickup time/location will be updated in August. There will also be a race day bib pickup from 7:00am-8:30am near the start/finish area.

Medals: Medals will be given to all participants that finish the 9.06K.

T-Shirts: Yooper Running Company Run 906 Shirts $15 option when registering. Will update with photo in 2026.

Awards: Age Group Awards (0-9 to 80+) and Overall Awards (Top Male/Female, Master Male/Female, Grand Master Male/Female) will be given.

Timing: Yooper Running Company times their own events with the Race Results 5000s Decoder utilizing bibs with double transponders for accurate chip timing.

Parking: Free parking will be available in a grass lot at Bridge View Park.

Course Details

The course will start in Bridge View Park and proceed to Boulevard Drive, running/walking West for 4.53Km before turning around to head towards the finish. There are excellent bridge and water views along the course. Boulevard Drive is composed of hard packed limestone gravel.

Refreshments: Water, gatorade, juice boxes, chips, fruit snacks, bananas, and cookies at the finish. Aid station at the turn around with water and gatorade.
