Run for a Dream 5K and 1M Fun Run

Join us for the 3rd Annual Run for a Dream 5K and 1M Fun Run, organized by the Landon Padgett Memorial Fund. This family-friendly event will take place at the Bleckley County Elementary School Cross Country Course in Cochran, GA.

Participants can choose between the 1 Mile Fun Run and the 5K Run for a Dream. There is also a virtual runner option available for those unable to attend in person. Prices range from $25.00 to $30.00, and all registrations made before November 14th will receive a guaranteed event shirt.

The courses wind through the scenic Bleckley County 5K cross-country trails, providing a fun and challenging experience for walkers, runners, joggers, and even dancers. After crossing the finish line, head over to the game field for a variety of family activities, including inflatable bouncers, a coloring activity for kids, corn hole and other games, face painting, and popcorn and cotton candy for purchase.

Registered runners will receive a race T-shirt, an LPMF canvas bag, sponsor gifts, and refreshments such as drinks, chips, and fruit. Please note that pets and strollers are not allowed on the course, and appropriate footwear is recommended for running on the cross-country trails.

The event supports the Landon Padgett Memorial Fund's programs that benefit the health and well-being of children and young people. All proceeds from the event will go towards these programs.
