6th Annual Run Morehead Glow Run 5K

Join us for the 6th Annual Run Morehead Glow Run 5K for this Healthy, Family Friendly Event. The Summer Twilight 5K is Back! The 6th Annual Run Morehead 5K will be on Friday, July 3, 2026! Race Time - 6 p.m.

Location: Rowan County Arts Center

Packet Pickup:
Day Before: Thursday, July 2nd - 5-7 p.m. at Morehead Police Department (309 W. Main St. Morehead, KY 40351, Across the street from Walgreens).
Race Evening: Rowan County Arts Center from 4:45-5:45 p.m.

After a glowing success in past years, we’re lighting up the the night once again! This isn’t just a race- it’s a party with a purpose. All proceeds benefit Shop With a Cop, a heartwarming program where our local officers take children shopping for holiday gifts. Walkers are welcomed as are strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes. Music, food, and other festivities will be set up at the start/finish. Shirts will be long-sleeved sizes S- 3X.

Enjoy a run, walk, or stroll through Morehead as a part of the city initiative to keep people moving. The event will kick off at the Rowan County Art Center. Lace up and let’s make a difference- one glowing step at a time!
