Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness

Race Info

This is our second Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness. Although the event is hosted at Pilla Middle School, all district schools and our community have come together to create this special event to spread awareness and promote acceptance. All proceeds will be returned to our community and benefit Pilla Project Unity (a club dedicated to creating social interactions among students of all abilities while giving back to the community), Educators 4 Autism (a local nonprofit organization), and Project Lifesaver (providing local children with GPS tracking devices).

The entire race takes place on the grounds of Pilla Middle School. The terrain is mostly paved surfaces but also includes grassy and dirt areas in the field behind the school. The course is jogging stroller friendly as long as it can handle the terrain mentioned above.

Register for the 5K by 3/29 and run away with a race tee and finisher medal! Register for the 1-mile by 3/29 and receive a race tee!

Awards will be given for the 5K to the top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers as well as the top 3 Students (under 18 years old). Packet pick-up will take place on race morning starting at 8am. The race will be held rain or shine.
