Running Wild 5K Run & 3K Scavenger Hunt Walk

About the Event:

• 5K Run/Walk: Professionally chip-timed event on park trails, roads, grass, and gravel. Awards for top finishers in each age category.
• 3K Wacky Scavenger Hunt Walk: On similar, relatively flat surfaces. Dogs allowed on a 6-foot leash for the WALK ONLY.

Participant Perks:

• Egg bake breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade cookies for registered participants.
• Terrific door prizes donated by local vendors.
• Hand-crafted participant medallion featuring a Bald Eagle (while supply lasts).
• Proceeds benefit park facilities, programs, and bus transportation to the parks for school programs.

Race Fees:

• Pre-Registration (through August 13): $25.00 (5K Run/Walk), $22.00 (5K Run/Walk, 14 & under), $20.00 (3K individual), $50.00 (3K Walk Herd Discount for 3-4 participants).
• Late/Same Day Registration (August 14-16): $30.00 (5K Run/Walk), $27.00 (5K Run/Walk, 14 & under), $25.00 (3K individual), $55.00 (3K Walk Herd Discount).
• T-shirts: $12.00 (S-XL), $15.00 (2XL-3XL) plus 7% sales tax. Must be ordered by August 4, 2026.

Event Times:

• Race Start: 8:30 AM EDT
• Bib Pick-up: Friday, August 14 (Noon - 6:00 PM) and Day of Race (7:30 AM - 8:15 AM).
