Russell Forest Run

Join us for the Russell Forest Run, a thrilling race through the beautiful Russell Forest in Alexander City, Alabama. The race offers two courses: the Russell Forest Run 10K and the Russell Forest Run 5K. Both courses take runners on a certified route over sand, clay, and gravel roads that were specifically designed for runners, bicycles, and electric cars.

The scenic route starts at Russell Crossroads and takes runners near Kob's Knob, up to Heaven, and back to the finish line near The Stables at Russell Crossroads. The 10K race will start promptly at 7:45am with a machine gun blast from the Town Green at Russell Crossroads. The 5K race, also an out and back, will begin at the Town Green shortly after the 10K race starts.

After the race, join us at The Stables for our post-race party, featuring our World Famous Grits Bar, live music, and more! Packet pickup for both races will be held on Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th at The Discovery Center in Russell Crossroads. Please follow the registration signs.

Please note that pets are not allowed on the course during the Russell Forest Run. We love our fur babies, but for their safety and the safety of the runners, we kindly ask that you leave them at home.
