The Denmark Surf Life Saving Club presents the 2026: SunSmart Southern Ocean Classic Mile

1600m Open Water Swim

Date: Easter Sunday 5th April 2026

Time: 10:00am GMT+8

Location: Ocean Beach Denmark, WA, Australia

Registration: All entered swimmers must register at Denmark Surf Club by 9:30am on Sunday.

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers aged 13 years old and over. Wetsuits may be worn but will not be eligible for prizes. No personal paddlers allowed.

Prizes:

• First Male/Female: $300
• Second Male/Female: $150
• Third Male/Female: $75
• Age Group prizes: $30 Male/Female

Entry Fees:

• Early Bird Entry (by March 29th): $70 (with race shirt)
• Late Entry ($80 from March 30th 2026): Late entries cannot be guaranteed a race shirt!

Early Bird Prize: All entries received by Sunday 29th March will go into the draw for an early bird prize of 3 nights accommodation for up to 4 people in a spa chalet at DENMARK OCEAN BEACH HOLIDAY PARK valued $700.
