STONE HARBOR TURTLE TROT 5K AND 2-MILE FUN WALK

Event Details

The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce presents the 26th Annual Stone Harbor Turtle Trot 5K Race and Two-Mile Fun Walk. This Memorial Day Weekend tradition offers a fast course through Stone Harbor’s scenic, residential neighborhoods. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Diamond Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in the 5K Race, as well as the top three men and women in six different age categories. The Fun Walk is an untimed, non-competitive event suitable for the entire family. All registered runners and walkers will receive a coveted Turtle Trot t-shirt while supplies last. Early registration is encouraged!

The event is rain or shine; no refunds will be issued if the race is cancelled due to dangerous weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:45 AM: Runner Check-In / Race Day Registration at the Lifeguard Shack Parking Lot on 95th Street and the beach.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Race Start
• 8:05 AM: 2-Mile Fun Walk Start

  • Registration (Feb 19 – May 22): $39.44 (inclusive of fees)
  • Late Registration (May 23 – May 24): $44.79 (inclusive of fees)
• 2 MILE FUN WALK:
  • Registration: $28.74 (inclusive of fees)
  • Late Registration (May 23 – May 24): $34.09 (inclusive of fees)
