Summer's Done 13.1

In-Person Race: August 22, 2026

Fit & Able is proud to bring back the Summer's Done 13.1 at Bond Park! This event is designed as a low-key race to keep participants active over the summer, providing a goal to train for and preparing them for the fall race season.

Virtual Race: August 15 - 22, 2026

Participate remotely in the virtual race options.

Courses Offered:

• 1/2 Marathon (13.1 Miles): In-person and Virtual
• 3/8 Marathon (9.825 Miles): In-person and Virtual
• 1/4 Marathon (6.55 Miles): In-person and Virtual
• 1/8 Marathon (3.275 Miles): In-person and Virtual

Pricing:

Prices vary by course and registration date. Early bird pricing often ends January 2nd. Virtual races are priced at $35. Kids in Strollers is $5. Exhibitor is $100.

Awards and Prizes:

Over $8,500 in potential awards for Overall, Age Group, Picking Up the Pace, and New Course Record. Referral rewards and team discounts are also available.

Safety Information:

Participants are advised to review information on hydration and heat disorders, as this is a summer event in North Carolina. Historical climate data for Cary, NC is available.

Race Day Schedule (In-Person):

Staggered starts begin at 7:00 AM (in order of distance). The course closes for all races at 10:00 AM.

What's Included:

Finisher medals and gifts are included for all 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 Marathon participants (guaranteed if signed up by August 9th). Shirts are available for purchase separately.

Bundles and Series:

• Summer Series 26.2: Combine finish times from Sizzling Soles Half-marathon and Summer's Done 13.1 for a 26.2 finish time. Save 10% when signing up for both.
• Ultra-marathon: Complete all five Fit & Able 13.1 races for combined finish times and awards.
