This is a stunning, point to point, trail half with sweeping views of the White Salmon River Valley and Columbia River Gorge. Race start is at the Husum Fire Station and travel up the Indian Creek Road to the Weldon Wagon Trail where you will climb 1500' to epic views. A few miles of gravel and a short road section will bring you to the fully stocked, Cherry Lane Fire Aid Station. Once you are recharged, you will dive back into spring flower-lined trails that will begin your winding decent into the streets of White Salmon and finish at the White Salmon Fire Station. 100% of proceeds of this event will be donated to the Volunteer Firefighters Association of SW Fire & Rescue. The event is part of the White Salmon Wildflower Festival, and the balsamroot should be putting on a fantastic show as you make your way up the Weldon Wagon Trail portion of the course.

Check in EARLY BUS - WALKERS (and smart runners who want better toilet facilities and a gymnasium to warm up in!) please collect your bib at White Salmon Fire Dept. and be on the bus by 7:30am. Check-in is at the White Salmon fire department starting at 7:00am. All participants need to be checked in by 8:20 and will board a bus to shuttle them to the start in Husum. Shuttle bus departs from White Salmon at 8:30 (so allow yourself time to be checked in prior to that). Check-in is required even if you are scheduling your own shuttle to the start. Sorry no dogs. We love running with our fur buddies too but this course goes through cattle pasture. Thank you!
