The Rikki-Lynn Warrior Foundation 5K Walk & Run

Purpose

This 5K will be the first official event hosted by the Rikki-Lynn Warrior Foundation. The event brings our community together to honor Rikki-Lynn’s life and the strength she showed every day. Funds raised will help support future community events and initiatives, including a scholarship for a student-athlete who plays where Rikki-Lynn once played.

Event Details

• Date: May 10, 2026
• Race Start: 9:00 am
• Location: The race will start at Roosevelt Middle School and utilize the Springfield High School grounds, including N. High School Pl and S. Kensington Pl.
• Ages: All ages welcome
• Registration: $35 per person (Includes race bib, Warrior bag, and t-shirt)

T-Shirt Guarantee

Participants who register by April 19, 2026, are guaranteed an official event t-shirt in their Warrior bag. Registrations received after April 19 are not guaranteed a shirt, but can receive one while supplies last.

Packet Pickup / Race Day Check-In

• Advance Packet Pickup (recommended): Friday, May 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Roosevelt Middle School.
• Race Day Check-In: Will begin at 7:00 am near the start line.

Walkers Welcome

Runners and walkers are welcome! This event is designed for participants of all ages and experience levels.

Parking

Parking will be available at Springfield High School.

• Water stations along the race route
• Food trucks available after the race
• On-site registration and check-in table
• Community gathering area at the finish line

Awards Ceremony

Following the race, a short awards ceremony will be hosted after the final runner crosses the finish line.

Weather & Refund Policy

The event will take place rain or shine. Registration fees are non-refundable.
