The Rubicon

Rubicon noun A limit that when passed or exceeded permits of no return. The Rubicon is a very difficult and remote on and off-trail foot race in the backcountry of the northwestern Sierra Nevada, and its undertaking should not be taken lightly. Make no mistake - this endeavor will test your limits! This is not an official event. This is a fatass; a glorified group run. There will be no course markings, no aid stations, no staff, and no medical team.

The route options are as follows:

• The Requisite: 15+ miles, ≈6,700 ft of gain, 3 hill climbs, & 2 water crossings
• The Resonant: 30+ miles, ≈12,700 ft of gain, 6 hill climbs, & 6 water crossings
• The Revenant: 43+ miles, ≈19,300 ft of gain, 8 hill climbs, & 8 water crossings

You must first complete The Requisite in order to be eligible for an attempt of The Resonant in the future. You must first complete The Resonant in order to be eligible for an attempt of The Revenant in the future.
