Three Rivers Marathon Swim

Event Details

The 3RMS will feature a mass start for 12 marathon swimmers at 7:00 AM from Point State Park. The swimmers will navigate approximately 30K through the Ohio, Monongahela, and Allegheny Rivers, with the support of kayakers and powered escorts.

Course Overview

• Swim 10K out-and-back in the Ohio River.
• Swim 10K against the current in the Monongahela River.
• Swim 10K in the Allegheny River including a buoy finish.

Conditions

Expect water temperatures around 72F, mostly calm conditions initially, and consider potential boat traffic and headwinds in the later segments.

Registration

Registration is open until August 1, 2025, or until the swimmer limit of 12 is reached. The registration fee is $802.25, which includes taxes and fees.
