Tumbleweed's Run for the Animals

Join us for Tumbleweed's Run for the Animals, a fun-filled event to support southeastern Washington's only rescue and sanctuary for farm animals. Lace up your running shoes and choose from our various courses:

- 5k Run/Waddle: Cover a distance of 5 kilometers on the beautiful Racho Reata Canyon trail system. Price: $25.00

- 1 mi Run/Waddle: Enjoy a 1-mile course on scenic trails and paved neighborhood roads. Price: $25.00

- 25 m Kids Waddle: Let the little ones participate in a 25-meter waddle. Price: $0.00

- Virtual Run: Can't make it to the event? Join us virtually and run at your own convenience. Price: $0.00

The main race will take place at Tumbleweed Animal Sanctuary in Kennewick, WA. The course will start and finish at the sanctuary, offering breathtaking views along the way. Don't forget to dress up in (farm) animal costumes to add to the fun!

After the run/waddle, stick around to meet the animals you're helping to support. We'll be offering a sanctuary tour at 10:30 am for all participants. Kids (of all ages) can also participate in a 25 m waddle, with awards for the best duck-like waddle and best duck costume.

The top 3 male and female finishers in the 5k race, as well as the first-place finisher in the 1.0-mile race, will receive awards. Make sure to register by October 26th to receive the sanctuary's address via email.
