The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Buffalo, NY is scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM. The event takes place at Bellevue Fire Company, 511 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.

This event is part of the Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series, created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who died on September 11, 2001. The series supports first responders and military heroes and their families.

Important Dates:

• Next price increase: Thursday, February 26, 2026
• Online registration for chip timing closes: Tuesday, September 15th, 2026
• Timing chips will not be given after September 15th, 2026.

Packet Pickup:

• Pre-run packet pickup: Thursday, September 17th (4-8 PM) at Brighton Fire Hall, 50 Jamaica Rd Tonawanda, NY 14150, and Friday, September 18th (4-8 PM) at Bellevue Fire Hall, 511 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga.
• Same-day packet pickup and registration opens at 7 AM on race day.

Event Day Information:

• Parking is available near the start line.
• Bib numbers must be worn on the front of the outermost garment.
• Water stations will be available along the route and at the finish line.
• Overall, age group, and team awards will be given.
• Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted.
• Donations are accepted for 6 weeks after the event.
