Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

Event Details

Join us for the Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon run/walk at Lake Balboa/Woodley Park. Participants will receive custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos, and free videos. Results will be posted online within 12-24 hours. Enjoy an assortment of snacks and samples in a friendly, relaxed, and fun racing experience for all levels.

Bib Pick Up

• Option 1 (Pre-Race): Wednesday, November 25th, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at 6340 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, CA 91406 (Woodley Park Section 1).
• Option 2 (Race Morning): Thursday, November 26th, 2026, from 6:15 AM to 7:20 AM at the same location.

Course Information

The course is easy to follow, consisting of loops around a marked path. It's an out-and-back course with one small hill. The 5k is 1 loop, 10k is 2 loops, and 15k is 3 loops, with an aid station at every loop. The Half Marathon consists of 3 extended 5k loops. A time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes applies; early starts can be arranged by emailing the organizer.

Location & Parking

The event takes place at 6340 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, CA 91406. Parking is available in the lots off Woodley Ave. and Victory Blvd., with additional dirt overflow parking across Woodley Ave. near the golf course. Participants must finish through the pedestrian tunnel and not cross Woodley Ave.
