USATF Ohio Assoc. Championship / Jack Mortland Race Walks

The Ohio Association of USA Track & Field presents the Jack Mortland 2026 Association Championships. Events contested include 5,000m, 10,000m, 20,000m, and possibly a half marathon. A 1-hour championship will also be contested simultaneously. All events will be held on a 400-meter outdoor track at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex in Xenia, Ohio. Timing will be provided by Finish Timing. Race results will be posted on Ohio Milesplit and will be applicable for USATF records and NAIA Nationals qualification.

Registration Fees

Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees.

• Standard Pricing (Apr 1 – Apr 10): $39.44 for 5,000 meter race walk

General Travel Information

The Athletes in Action Sports Complex is located at 1197 S. Detroit Street, Xenia, OH 45385. Parking is available next to the football field/track, or at the John Wooden Family Field House. Restrooms are available at the concessions building and the Field House. Lodging is available on campus at Athletes in Action dorms ($90/night for a two-person room, $105/night for a suite) by emailing [email protected]. Other nearby lodging includes Hampton Inn & Suites and John Allen House Bed & Breakfast.

Where can I do a workout?

Bike trails in Xenia are suitable for race walking. The track at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex is also available prior to race morning if the gate is open. Fitness paths around the YMCA are also an option.

Travel

Dayton International Airport (DAY) is the closest airport (approx. 35 minutes). Columbus (CMH) is one hour away, and Cincinnati (CVG) is a little over an hour away.
