Benefiting Youth Challenge

Where Will Color Take You? raises vital funds for Youth Challenge (YC). YC brings together young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers who inspire each other through adapted sports, recreation, and social growth activities. In 2026, Youth Challenge celebrates 50 years of impact in Northeast Ohio. We are excited to commemorate this special anniversary!

Start Times

• 7:00am - Late Packet Pickup/Registration
• 8:15am - Kids' Dash
• 8:30am - 5K
• 9:00am - 1-Mile Walk & Roll

* Strollers are allowed, but dogs are not **There will not be a handcycle division this year

Timing

• 5K: MyLaps BibTag Chip Timing
• 1-Mile Walk & Roll: Untimed

Virtual Participants are welcome to submit their time HERE by June 27, but will not be counted toward Top 5K Finishers.

• Individual Registration (16 & Over) [5K Run // 1-Mile Walk & Roll]: $35

Day-Of Walk Up Registration Pricing (opens June 13 @ 12:00am EDT)

Supporter Registration

All supporters that want to cheer on participants that are running, walking or rolling will need to purchase a wristband for the event. This includes Zoo members. You can purchase a Supporter wristband here for $12. This registration option only includes an event wristband.

• Top 3 Male and Female Runners in the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over

Registration Includes

• Admission to Zoo
• Race T-Shirt (must register by 5/29 @ 11:59pm EDT)
• Kids’ Dash
• Post-Race Refreshments
• Awards to Top 5K Finishers
• DJ // Photobooth // Games & More

Virtual Participation

Virtual participants in the 5K or 1-Mile event can register anytime before June 13 @ 9:00am EDT. Participants will receive a virtual family fun packet and event t-shirt (must be registered by 5/30). Results can be submitted until June 27.
