Presented by BC Athletics, this is the 16th annual Whistler 50 Relay & Ultra. The event offers a 50-mile relay for teams of 4 or 8 people, and a 50km solo ultra-marathon for beginners, consisting of 5 x 10km loops.

Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza, Whistler, BC, Canada

Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026

Start Times: Relay Race Starts at 7:30 a.m. PDT, Ultra Race Starts at 7:45 a.m. PDT

Courses:

• Solo Ultra 50km Run: 5 laps of 10km. Must be completed in under 9 hours and 30 minutes.
• Team Relay 50 Miles (Team of 8): Each of the eight members completes one 10km loop.
• Team Relay 50 Miles (Team of 4): Each of the four members completes two consecutive 10km loops for a total of 20km per person.

Pricing:

Prices vary based on registration period (Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Regular, 1 month to go, Last minute). GST is an additional compulsory charge.

• Solo Ultra 50km Run: Starts at $95.46 (Super Early Bird)
• Team Relay 50 Miles (Team of 8): Starts at $562.14 (Super Early Bird)
• Team Relay 50 Miles (Team of 4): Starts at $296.98 (Super Early Bird)

Cancellation Policy:

No refunds offered by BC Athletics/Whistler50 unless Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program is selected. Transfers are possible with a $10.00 fee by September 30th. BC Athletics reserves the right to cancel or change the route due to various reasons; in case of event cancellation by BC Athletics, no refunds will be available. Entries may be transferred to the next available date or a deferred credit may be offered.
