Winter Wonderland Hike: Columbia Trail & Ken Lockwood Gorge.

Event Details

Duration: 4 hours 45 minutes.

Starting from the trailhead in High Bridge, NJ, we'll embark on a 12-mile hike. Please arrive by 10:15 AM to ensure we can start by 10:30 AM.

Pack a lunch to enjoy in Califon. After the hike, join us for food and drinks in High Bridge (location TBD).

Logistics

• Parking: Available for free at the High Bridge lot.
• Bathroom Facilities: Port-o-johns at the start and in Califon.
• Terrain: Crushed gravel trail with some rocky sections and hills.
• Difficulty: Moderate, pacing approximately 2.8 - 3 MPH.

For those coming from NYC, a pre-arranged carpool is an option. Make reservations a week in advance.

What to Bring

• Traction devices, hiking boots, and poles depending on weather conditions.
• Snacks and a packed lunch.
