The WishMaker 5K is the signature running event for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina — and one of Surf City’s favorite race weekends of the year. Make it your fall destination race. Grab your crew. Book the beach house. Stay for the weekend. Held in conjunction with the OverUnder Biathlon, this isn’t just a 5K — it’s a full-on race weekend experience packed with energy, community, and purpose. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish® Eastern North Carolina in honor of Perryn Miller of @PerrynStrong. The goal of the WishMaker 5K is to Grant Wishes! The cost of a wish for a child is roughly $7500. Every stride. Every volunteer. Every donation gets us one step closer to making wishes come true.
