Yellowstone Independence Day 5k 2026

RACE DAY: July 4th 2026 at 8 am in Livingston MT

The third annual Yellowstone Independence Day 5k fun run/walk promises to be bigger and better than ever! All proceeds benefit the Yellowstone Running Club's mission to support wellness through running/walking and the greater Park County youth cross country team's attendance at regional championship races.

LOCATION: Sacajawea Park, Livingston MT

EVENT: Thursday, July 4, 2026 - 8 am

The race starts at the historic Sacajawea Park, next to the Yellowstone River in Livingston, MT. Wear patriotic attire and decorate strollers for a chance to win a prize. All runners are entered in a raffle, and snacks are provided post-race. The race is chip-timed.

Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

Online Registration: Closes 9 pm July 3. Same-day registration is available 7:15-7:45 am at the start line (cash, PayPal, or check).

Price: $25 (before July 1, 2026), $30 (after June 30, 2026)

Bib Pickup: 7:15 a.m.-7:45 a.m. on July 4th at Sacajawea Park's New Picnic Shelter (north side).

Post Race: Bottled water and snacks provided. A water aid station is available halfway through the course.
